elunic breaks new ground in automated quality control

The system AI.SSE is similar to traditional AOI systems in that it prevents quality defects by automated real-time monitoring. But the difference is that elunic’s system uses new training images to continue its learning, and is thus able to detect significantly more complex or rarer defects.

Furthermore AI.SEE speeds up the quality control process and dramatically reduces the time from problem analysis to ready-made solutions. Inspection staff no longer need to search possible defects themselves: The system inspects the surface, performs contour and dimensional measurements and locates the position of the defective component. This makes it possible to guarantee consistent product quality because even tiny anomalies not detectable by the human eye are identified by the system. 

Furthermore, the use of AI.SSE increases the daily throughput, prevent expensive breakdowns and reduces production scrap.
